Planning & Zoning Department / Zoning Hearing Board

The Zoning Hearing Board is made up of three members, all of whom are residents of the Borough. Zoning Hearing Board members are appointed by Borough Council, and serve three-year, staggered terms.

The Board is responsible for hearing and deciding appeals where it is alleged that the Zoning Office has erred in applying or interpreting regulations, hearing and making decisions on special exceptions, and authorizing variances from the terms of the Zoning Ordinance.

The Zoning Hearing Board meets in the Borough Complex on an as needed basis.
